How to remove a stuck manifold?

I am trying to remove the manifold from a Watts Premier water filtration system, but it won’t budge. I’m using the heavy duty wrench designed for the purpose. Any suggestions on how to loosen it?
Never mind. I figured it out! I poured very hot water over it.
