torque wrench sets
I have a torque wrench that has settings on the side of the handle?
but when I adjust to a desired setting ( lets say 240 ) and try to set the zero with the 240 mark ( there are two zero marks ) one of them will put the adjustment to just above the 240 mark and the other one will adjust to just below the 240 mark. In other words if i line the adjustment exactly with the 240 mark the setting reads 244. Do the zero marks need to line up exactly with the desired setting on the side of the handle to be accurate?
No they don"t 240 and 244 are not that far apart. So i doubt that you would break any bolts. Some torque wrenches wear with time. Mine has i know. Just be careful when pulling on the bolt. You can tell when they are about tight as they need to be. Just common sense.
