How to use a torque wrench to turn bolts on transmission pan for a Tacoma 2000, 2wd?

Is a torque wrench absolutely needed? A regular wrench with correct socket is OK? If a torque wrench is absolutely needed, what are the torque specs for my transmission pan bolts. My vehicle: A Toyota Tacoma, 2000, 2.4 lit, 2wd. Thanks

You probably could get by with a regular wrench, just make sure you dont over torque it and eat into the threads. Also make sure you put Lock-tite on each of the bolts thread so the trucks vibration doesnt make them come loose.

The torque wrench is jsut good to have to make sure you dont overtighten and de-thread the hole.
